Take a leisurely boat ride on the lake to see the glaciers up close in Fjallsárlón and Spend the afternoon taking an ice cave tour from Jökulsárlón. Watch the sun set over glaciers at Jökulsárlón and see the pieces of ice glittering at the nearby Diamond. While returning back to Reykjavik, stop over for the northern light, if its being spotted that time.
The Aurora Borealis is a magnificent natural phenomenon and very unpredictable, so be on the lookout! We will have your hotel wake you up if they spot the Lights. If you haven’t spotted the Lights already, we can arrange an evening boat ride to spot the Aurora Borealis from the ocean. OR, take a jeep tour with an experienced local to chase the Lights as they appear over waterfalls, glaciers or lava fields
One of the days is kept free / additional to explore things on your own in / around Reykjavik, and also as a buffer to spot the Northern lights, as its highly weather dependent. Whale Watching tour is Optional if Northern lights not spotted.
